10 hours of no-beat ambience. 42 songs, average length is 15 minutes. The order of the songs is designed for the energy to ebb and flow according to each of the sleep cycles. I made this album over a 6 year period in my spare time. Each song was composed and played live on the spot. The process went basically like this: I would explore synthesizer presets or design a sound from scratch and use only that sound. Then I would experiment with it for a few minutes, maybe incorporate a gated filter, then just hit record and see what happened.

I originally started this project just to make music for myself to sleep to. After a few songs were made, I got the idea to make a complete 8-hour album that would last through the whole night. In 2013 no one had ever done that yet. Then I decided to make it 10-hours, so I could start it an hour before bed and it would keep playing an hour after rising. But now I also just let it play in the background while I work, when I meditate and do breathing exercises and yoga, etc.
